Will Davison - Jazz Guitarist

This guitarist can provide acts that will suit all situations, from solo guitar or duo with vocals playing original and unique versions of your favorite tunes. A full function band to get everyone up and dancing all night long or a jazz trio, quartets to set the mood. All groups carry the top of the range sound systems to make sure the events sounds great.

After gaining a scholarship and a first class degree in music at Coventry University, he gained extensive performing experience. He is an active performer as a soloist and in many different bands from pop to big bands performing in theatres, hotels, clubs, bars, and festivals in the UK and Europe and on the radio.

He is also an experienced tutor, facilitator and instrumental teacher presently working in 4 different schools. He has worked for over 3 years for Leicester college as the guitar tutor, and has ran his own workshop business putting on workshops in schools in and around Leicestershire as well as being a peripatetic teacher for Leicestershire arts teaching primary school children and adults. He has great experience across the age range from primary to further education. His approach to all his work places great emphasis on attention to detail.

Perfect music to add to the atmosphere whilst you are eating, drinking cocktails or simply relaxing. His repertoire includes jazz standards and originally arranged well known classics.

A varied repertoire to suit a variety of occasions which would include songs from the ‘Great American Song book, e.g. Gershwin, Cole Porter and Richard, plus songs from Antonio Carlos Jobin and jazz composers such as Duke Ellington and Miles Davis.
