The Dublin Bagpiper - Highland Bagpiper

Looking for a Highland Piper in Ireland? The Dublin Bagpiper can help you create a very unique atmosphere on your wedding day. Pipers have been entertaining guest at weddings, banquets and parties for centuries and pipe music brings a historical perspective to your special day.

There are three parts to a wedding where The Dublin Bagpiper usually plays - the Church or Registry Office, the Reception and the Bride and Grooms entrance to the meal.

The unique sound of the bagpipes movingly announces the arrival of the bride as she is piped down the isle and he can also play outside the church as people arrive. Some nice slow aires are played at communion (if requested). The bride and groom begin the celebrations of their marriage by being piped with some lively tunes out of the Church. A couple of tunes are played outside the Church as your guests congratulate you.

Imagine arriving in style to your hotel with a piper playing to announce you. Imagine how all your guests will feel as a piper welcomes them to your wedding. As you and your guests enjoy the reception the bagpipes play in the background creating a memorable and unique atmosphere.

The Dublin Bagpiper learned to play the guitar, piano, tin whistle and harmonica at a young age and set himself a goal of learning to play Amazing Grace on the bagpipes for his own wedding, as a surprise for his bride.

After that, The Dublin Bagpiper joined the Dublin Airport Pipe band and has played solo and with bands at numerous events and in numerous locations including: Hawaii, Italy, Spain, Scotland, England, California and pretty much all over Ireland. He has also studied piping at the Centre of Piping in Glasgow.

The Dublin Bagpiper treats every event he plays at with the same important as my his wedding and he always aims for his bagpipe playing to give each event a truly moving sense of occasion.

Weddings, funerals, celebrations, corporate events.

Many thanks to you for playing the bagpipes at our wedding. Marrying a Scotsman meant we needed a reliable piper playing at our wedding and you were exactly that man. You were fantastic and played all the songs which we requested. It was so moving to walk up the aisle with my dad to the sound of the pipes. You also played us into the top table which was amazing and it really got everyone ready for the rest of the nights' events. We would like to extend our sincere thanks for your phenomenal playing of the bagpipes and would 100% recommend you to friends and family looking for a piper!
