The Nottingham Jazz Duo - Jazz Duo Feedback

The band were such a breath of fresh air and were such a special part of our wedding, everyone remarked how great they were and many (who would have left if we had hired the usual thump-thump-thump wedding dj who always seems to play the same track list) stayed to hear all their sets. They took our requests and even played a Star Wars/Cantina band medley, which in the beginning was an idle request by the groom but ended up being a well thought out composition! I highly recommend this experienced music loving band to anyone wishing to add a touch of class to their big day.

Andrew and Julie Cliff,

Thank you so much – you were all fantastic! Not only does Jeanie have a beautiful voice, she can really sing – and that is something different altogether…

Natasha Ahyee,

All the feedback I received so far has been very positive and pleasing, thank you and the rest of the quartet for your great performance!

Gemma Smallwood, Conference Manager at IHEEM,

The wedding went really well and the band were brilliant. The singer had a great voice and everyone commented on how good they were!

Ruth,

You guys were really fantastic, thank you for making our evening so special!

Jonathan Harris,

Thank you once again for coming to Paris – you were great and the client was very happy! It was great working with you and we will definitely be in touch in the future.

Linda ,

Thank you and the band for the night!! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, I hope it showed…

Claire Taylor, Bride,

Just wanted to thank you once again for your great performance and to let you know that I’ve had lots of good comments about the band even from the bar staff at the club!

Debbie Neal,

I wanted to write and thank you so much for such an enjoyable evening. All my family, some of whom had travelled a distance to get there were all very impressed with you and your trio. It really lifted the spirit of the evening, and want to thank you for that. You deserve every success in your career.

Sharon Charlton,

Thank you and your trio for making my colleague’s OBE Investiture Party so enjoyable. Everyone at the party enjoyed every song you sang; you all just seemed to get better and better as the night wore on. Again…thanks… both from my guests and from myself.

Peter Jodion, CEO at Tri-Med,

The band were amazing. I’ve lost track of the number of people who told me how great they thought they were. Basically everyone there I think! They are clearly all very talented and sound brilliant – they pitched everything perfectly for the venue (marquee for 100 guests), and really made the evening. Communications leading up to the wedding were also very good – Jeanie suggested lots of song options and was very eager to accommodate any specific requests and requirements – it couldn’t have been easier. Our only problem now is trying to find an excuse to have another party so we can book her again!

John and Laura Goodall,

The band played at our wedding and provided excellent sophisticated entertainment for our evening. Jeanie has a flexible repertoire and did us a number of requests and also an impressive selection of popular jazz and ‘ratpack’ songs. For the three hours that the quartet played people were dancing all the way through (some non-stop!) and a number of our guests commented on the quality of the singer and music and enquired as to how they could contact the quartet for their own events. Overall we were thoroughly satisfied and think Jeanie’s band provided the perfect mix of popular and entertaining songs to allow all of our guests and us to thoroughly enjoy the night – highly recommended!”

Matt and Zoe,

Thank you all again for playing for us on Saturday. So many people said how amazing you were and how much it made their evening – it really did make it a special night. I think you may also be responsible for creating some rather interesting photos – I didn’t see the Tico Tico conga but I hear there were some very amusing photographs taken!
