Ivory Strings - Cello and Piano Duo Feedback

The duo played whilst our wedding guests arrived and through the ceremony. The guests commented on how lovely the music was and they really helped to set the tone of the day. They were able to fulfil all of our requests and we were so pleased with how the music turned out. Would definitely recommend them for a wedding or special event.

Emily Copson, , Wedding (June 2022)

The duo were exceptional. They provided a fantastic service with no fuss. We are more than happy with the service and performance they provided

Mike Swann, , Wedding (September 2019)

Both my wife and I would like to extend a warm embrace of gratitude to Kala Jira. They arrived at our wedding venue in deepest Leicestershire, early morning and were no trouble in setting-up and getting on with the set. We had asked (at short notice too) for them to learn about a half dozen songs which were very close to my wife's heart and with little effort they incorporated this into the great song-list they had. Our most memorable moment of the whole Indian wedding was when they played "Durge Durge" just as i was placing sindoor through my wife's hair, just so meaningful for us and perfect timing. The Flute and tabla music was wonderful throughout the day and in the coming weeks both my wife and I have had numerous guests message us to ask who they were and wanting their contact details, which make us more than happy to pass on, they really set the most perfect ambiance. Many thanks once again and we would definitely recommend anyone to hire Kala Jira. Lots of Love

Kayur and Minal Mody, Leicestershire, Wedding (06/08/15)

Thank you so much for the music you gave us for our reception. Our guests loved it and had so much fun creating the playlist. Brilliant!

Caitlin and Amanda Thompson, Taylor,

..., I wanted to say a huge thank you for the fantastic music you gave us on our wedding day. Hearing 'A thousand years' as I walked in was one of the highlights of the day for me. So beautiful.

Angela Marston,

Thank you for the wonderful music during our ceremony. It was beautiful and a real talking point for our guests.

Emily and Steve Castiaux,

Once again, many thanks for yesterday - the two of you were an absolute delight and much enjoyed by our families.

Sir Graeme Davies,

A quick message to say a big thank you for your beautiful playing last week. You received a lot of lovely comments from friends and family who thoroughly enjoyed your playing. You really helped to create the atmosphere we wanted.

Benjamin Cook,

Thank you so much for playing for us and also allowing Georgie to sing along with you, it sounded so beautiful, it was a shame we had to sign the register at the same time as both Ben and I just wanted to sit and listen to it in entirety, it certainly was a very special moment.

Lydia and Ben Nimmo,
