This Act's Average Star Rating

Thanks to the generosity of the musicians and popularity of the event, the Ceilidh was a fantastic fund-raiser and the event left behind it not only long-lasting happy memories of a lovely evening spent as a community, but enough money raised to purchase a new electronic piano for the children. Everybody still talks about it – and we are all looking forward to the next one.

, Lewes New School

It was a family event - so there were children all the way up to grandparents. The dance instruction was given with just the right mix of clarity and light-heartedness, so that everybody was able to learn the dances and all ages felt warmly included. The musicians were delightful – and made a wonderful sound.

For our 2012 school Harvest Festival we were fortunate enough to have their wonderful group to lead our Ceilidh.

The band played at the garden party which we hold each year in Hyde Park Square for several years running and were a great success. They made a lovely sound which enticed people to dance and always had good caller who helped our guests ( many of whom were from overseas) to learn the dance steps .I remember that both young and old enjoyed their playing and I wish them every success in this new venture.

Dulcie Poznansky,

I wanted to thank you and the rest of your band for making the ceilidh held at our anniversary so successful. Many of our guests commented how you brought the right mix of humour, encouragement and instruction to make it as participative as it possibly could be – and really matched the tone of the evening. We will have no hesitation in booking you again for any future ceilidh requirements we have, thanks again, I would be happy to recommend you.

James,
