Samba Jazz Trio - Brazilian, Latin, and International Band
Samba Jazz Trio is a Brazilian songwriter and music professional based in London who produces and coordinates many of his own projects and shows and works in partnership with other individuals and organizations both in London and around the world. In addition to his significant work as a performer.
Before living in London, in 2000, he performed with Bosco de Oliveira at Barbican on the same night as João Gilberto, the big name of Bossa Nova. Since then, his international concerts have been very successful in the UK, Spain, Japan, Italy, Argentina, and Brazil. He wrote songs and produced some tracks for the group Jazzinho, which had some big names as Jazz: Ed Motta, Max Middleton, and Jim Mullen.
He played in different venues in London with Xantone Black (Amy Winehouse and Omar), songwriter and singer. He worked in the production of an event in Canning House – London with Carlos Lyra and Marcos Valle.
In Brazil, he performed with Joyce and Clara Moreno on a TV show for the country. His group had performed in many festivals, such as Salisbury, Hackney, Carnaval Del Pueblo, Luton, London City Fest, Guildhall School of Music and Drama, Hampstead Heath, Queens Park, and others. He also, performed in gigs, and venues, such as Jazz Café, Pizza Express Jazz Club, 606, Rich Mix, and Somerset House. He recently performed with the orchestra in the role of Tom Jobim at Cadogan Hall. Also, he plays in commemorative events, celebrations, parties, and weddings alone or with a group.
Description and Performance Details
Samba Jazz Trio can perform also perform solo, in a duo, trio, quartet, or larger band. They have adequate sound equipment for each event and our own transport.
From his experience, he can adapt to the customer's needs. Highlights of the soloist's past work:
- Punctuality - when arriving at the place, preparation is necessary, so that everything starts in due time. Sometimes a site visit beforehand works.
- Quality of the music, meeting the needs and requirements of the client.
- Respect for contractors, guests, and everyone in general, creating a friendly atmosphere.

“We were extremely pleased with the band performance at our wedding, in fact, we think it was one of the best investments in the party, brought a sophisticated and upbeat element to the party atmosphere! The lead was a lovely character to deal with, very responsive and interactive during the playlist setup, giving his input on amplification and sound setup on the island where the event was to happen to maximize the performance perception. I can say his suggested playlist contains the classiest bossa nova and local popular music, as well as some pop and international hits, it certainly pleases all crowds. I was impressed with their punctuality and reassurance throughout the process, as well as the quality of their delivery. They seemed to play the songs with their hearts, and of course, the guests realize it, it was a huge success!
