The Arada Guitar Duo - Classical Guitar Duo

This husband and wife guitar duo both took up the guitar in their early teens and were self taught until entering music college. Jonathan went on to graduate from the City of Leeds College of Music and learnt the guitar near her family home in Bromley Kent with Norman Vaux. She was a member of the Bromley Guitar Quartet with Norman, but since then she has concentrated on her duet partnership with her husband performing in numerous venues and special occasions.

They met for the first time on the Horncastle Summer School for Classical Guitar in Lincolnshire run by the well known teacher and writer on guitar Graham Wade. They started life together as duet partners and eventually became married. Both are established guitar teachers in their local area working both in the state and private sectors.

Classically trained and very experienced in ‘guitar matters’ they are available to provide quality background music for weddings, private functions and corporate events. The repertoire they offer is tailored to suit individual tastes and personal requirements. Specific requests are included whenever possible, sometimes at very short notice and occasionally even 'on the day! A personal input is always encouraged from our clients and references can be supplied on request.
