Nick Christiansen - Classical Guitarist

This classical guitarist is based in London and is available for weddings and functions. Aside from his concert work, he has provided entertainment for a range of functions both corporate and personal.
His music has delighted guests at cocktail parties, weddings, press launches, corporate hospitality events and intimate family birthdays. The classical guitar can provide the perfect background in many situations. In London he has played in such settings as the Hyde Park Hotel, the Garrick Club and the Victoria & Albert Museum in the presence of HRH Princess Alexandra. He has also entertained at the Henley Festival and aboard the cruise liners the Black Watch, Black Prince and QE2.

His repertoire includes classic works by Albeniz, Bach, Villa-Lobos, Rodrigo, Beethoven, "Cavatina" by Myers, and lighter music by Eric Clapton, Gershwin, John Denver and Andrew Lloyd-Webber. His repertoire can be tailored to your needs.

He is a graduate of the Royal Academy of Music. He has studied with distinguished guitarists Julian Bream and John Williams, and in Spain with maestros José Tomas and Alex Garrobé. He has performed throughout the UK at events such as the Edinburgh Festival, the 1st International Guitar Duo Festival, the Battersea Contemporary Music Festival and the Bolivar Guitar Series. He was a finalist in the 1998 Velez-Malaga International Guitar Competition broadcast on Spanish television.
